Quick question... Which Medifast product was Nicole Richie hooked on?What Company? Looking forward for any response. Second question.. I noticed that most of the challenges on here are for losing lbs or staying OP but I haven't seen any ones regarding losing inches (I haven't looked that hard) and NSV are just as important as scale ones so I thought I'd start a challenge to see who could lose the most inches...I've never started a challenge before but I'll try to set the groundwork and any suggestions would be appreciated..

1. Every member should measure and post inches lost in each of the following areas every Saturday:.

2. Every member should post how many inches they would like to lose this week.

3. I will create a spreadsheet and post the inches lost for each person and their goals every Sunday..

4. I'll announce winners each Sunday for each of the measured body areas plus an overall winner..

5. I created a banner for anyone that wants to use it. Here is the code, just remove the 4 * to use it:.

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could assist you..

Great job on the 10 inches. Regarding the banner, sure! I'll work up a winner banner. SHould we have one for each body part or just the overall winner?...you saw the one for the challenge right?..

I think it's a weekly thing...I dunno if there is an end date yet. Are we going to have an official measure in day? Yes I saw the one for the group I just haven't put it up yet. I dunno each body part allows more people to be encouraged that one overall, but it could also get confusing...it's up to you!..

I thought it could just be a weekly challenge. But if it would be more motivational we could chose an end date....everyone else's thoughts?..

I was thinking a weekly thing. Saturdays are the official measurement day, apologize if that was unclear in the original post. I'll work on one for each body part and an overall winner then. I'll post them tomorrow with the winners. I do think that each winner should make a commitment to only fly the banner on weeks that they win though. What do you guys think? Not to negate your previous efforts if you won in the past but then it would eliminate the need to have an end date because each week would be a new challenge???..

Great job! I didn't think about it but I guess maybe everyone doesn't have their measurements from last week? I was thinking we could just post the amount lost in each area...so then we would probably have to start having a winner next week then......

Alright....I was busy this morning with volunteer orientation at the Animal Foundation so I wasn't able to get my measurements done earlier today.....

Bust/Chest = .5.

Waist = 0.

Hips = 0.

Thigh = .5.

Bicep = 0.

Overall = 1".

Very disappointing results this week. I've hit a plateau and really need to step up the exercise but I've been pushing it off b/c I'm getting over being sick and if I push too much before it is gone it'll just come back...hopefully next week will be better for me..

I normally measure every two weeks on Sunday, so I'll measure and post tomorrow and then I'll go to Saturday measuring. I normally space it out... I guess to give more time for me to lose inches, so it should be fun to see if I lose weekly. I'll post them ASAP tomorrow..

I think as long as you measure in the same spot each week that would be fine. Regarding arms and thighs...I typically just measure 1 because I figure the loss is approximately the same in each one but should we do both and then combine them for total inches lost in arms/thighs?.

So I guess technically next Sunday will be the first real winner announcement? I'll work on banners this week for each area. If anybody wants a worksheet to track your inches each week you can download one from the templates section of Microsoft, it's for excel. It's the one I use each week. It tracks your BMI and weight too...

My measurements:.

Chest- 41.5.

I measure around the nipple since I'm hoping to lose cup sizes.

Waist -38 (I measure at the fatest part of my belly since that's where I wanna lose).

Measurements in the normal spots everything stays the same by my chest which is 36.5 and waist which is 34.5..

Hey guys, I'm sorry but I think there has been a little bit of confusion. I can't track everyone's measurements and then calculate your losses each week. That would be a spreadsheet nightmare.

Could you guys track them on your own and then only post the amount you lost for each body part in half inch increments each week? There is a great spreadsheet if you go to the templates section of Microsoft.com. I think there is a way of tracking them using your My Plan tab in Medifast as well. I hope this is okay with everybody...let me know!..

I like it! I track my measurements on my own, I thought we were supposed to post them here...did you just want our loses instead?..

Yeah. Sorry about the confusion. I guess we could start off with posting our measurements initially but when you post on Saturday I would prefer if you could do the amount lost so that I can easily put them into the spreadsheet and determine the winner.....

Happy Weekend (and Happy Birthday to William Shakespeare!).

I've had a rough week...if y'all didn't catch my whining on another thread, here's the short of it: I had an inhalation injury this week with a wonderful course of antibiotics, painkillers, and high doses of steroids. I am puffy as H-E-Double Hockey Sticks with a 10 pound gain in 5 days to show for it! Slight bump in my weight loss-road, so won't even bother to measure today....so next week won't count for me either (nothing this week to compare to) however I'm still here and hope to remain part of this challenge! ((HUGS)) to all!..
