My 1st question is: Will Medifast work different than Medifast Gordonii Plus? Thanks for any response. Another question I got... Good Morning Gang and Merry Christmas to all,.

In November I decided after 5 years to do wls, only to find out my insurance did not support it,so I changed insurance. Now as I patiently wait the insurance to get me enrolled( they are taking their time,1 person policy) I have been here with you, laughing ,.

Crying.

And cheering, trying to prepare for this wonderful journey. So my question is for everyone. What do you wish you had asked your Surgeon but didn't? Thanks in advance for your answers..

Rhonda..

Of course! however you might want to make sure and wait for someone else to confirm it as I am on the fence. Better yet, why don't you email the Medifast guys because they can answer your Medifast question better...

I cant recall any specific questions..

I had to see a Dietician, a Social Worker, Physiologist, Nurse Practitioner and then I finally got to meet the surgeon, by that time so many of my questions had been answered. Not to mention the 2 years of.

Research.

I did on my own..

I do agree with Mapaio, ask how long you should take off. My Surgeon said 4 weeks, I booked 6 weeks of my work. I want to make sure I know my pouch really well before I go back, lol, and I figured I might as well take the Christmas season off too..

Good Luck, you will do great!!..

I asked everything and anything. From.

Birth control.

Medication, to complications in.

Surgery.

He personally dealt with, to hair loss supplements. Everytime I met with my surgeon I had a handful of questions to ask him that were written down. It demonstrated to him that I was comitted to this and that I was willing to put in the leg work and conduct as much.

Research.

As possible. Not everything you read about GBS is true or happens to everyone so it is important that you are open with your surgeon and bariatric staff about absolutely everything as they can give you answers based on your medical history and customizable to you..

You know you have found a great surgeon when you can ask any question I mean any- -and they are willing to answer anything you may inquire about..

Best Wishes...

Morphine.

The only gave me three 60? Tubes of the shit and I think that was jus a bit lite. Plus there are no doggy bags for the shit so don't be stupid. Use it all up..

Secondly I only got one sponge bath by that beautiful young nurse, I also shouldve held out for a few more of those..

As for.

Knowledge.

, I'd be in fat class for a year and I had this dump and Callie was.

Running.

It so I did have a worry in the world..

LOL.

All true.

Lucifer.

You'll never know enough to ask THE question so just relax and enjoy the process. The ppl that do this are pros don't worry!..

I asked my doctor what his complication rate was. He was very honest and said in the begining he made the opening to the stomach too small and had to dilate a few. He was afraid of leakeage. Since then he made changes and has had no problems. I thought that was very honest of him to tell you what issues he may have had....and what he did to improve it. Made me feel very comfortable with him...

I wish I has asked about the pain management plan, one more time, on the morning of.

Surgery.

!.

Unlike Lu, my promises of hot and cold.

Running.

Morphine.

Never materialized! I was on some suckass liquid that didn't do it, and I didn't figger til the third day what had happened..

I finally asked Doc last month and he looked like I had asked where monkey babies come from....CLUELESS and rightfully mortified..

ALWAYS ASK YOUR SURGEON AND ANESTH, THE MORNING OF.

SURGERY.

, TO CONFIRM YOUR MEDS, AND MAKE IT.

MORPHINE.

!..
